Subscription Data

If you subscribe to VybeAfterDark Pro, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We do not collect or store payment card details. We receive only subscription status information from our payment partner (RevenueCat).

Automatically Collected Information

We may automatically collect device type, operating system version, and app usage analytics to improve our service.

4. AI-Generated Content

VybeAfterDark uses a third-party AI content generation service to power game content in two ways:

• Party Mode — player names entered during game setup may be sent to our AI provider to personalise prompts, dares, and challenges. These names are typically aliases or nicknames chosen for the game session, not necessarily real identities.
• Quiz Night — selected quiz categories and difficulty level are sent to our AI provider to generate trivia questions. Player names are not sent for quiz generation.

No other personal information is shared with our AI provider. A full list of our data processors is available on request.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• AI content provider — game names and quiz settings only, for generating game content
• RevenueCat — your user ID, for subscription management
• Apple/Google — through their respective app stores for payment processing

6. Data Retention

Game session data is retained for the duration of the game and may be cached to improve performance. You can initiate account deletion inside the app, which permanently removes your account and associated session data. Support can also assist if you cannot access your account.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted passwords (bcrypt), secure API communication (HTTPS), and JWT-based authentication to protect your data.

8. Age Requirement

VybeAfterDark is intended for users aged 17 and older. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 17 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 17. If we learn that we have collected data from someone under 17, we will delete it promptly.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Delete your account and associated data from within the app
• Opt out of analytics collection
